Shannon Gomes brings more than two decades of experience doing national and international public relations, branding, marketing, and event planning for food & beverage brands and food commodity boards.
Prior to launching Good Food Experiences, Shannon was the founding principal of Good Food PR for seven years. She secured national print, online and broadcast media coverage for clients, collaborated with top food influencers, and planned/executed numerous in-person events and immersive food experiences. Shannon represented clients such as Clover Sonoma, Mezzetta, California Strawberries, Bulletproof, Corto Olive. Co., Peet's Coffee, Green Valley Creamery, Revive Drinks, Miss Jones Baking Co., Farmhouse Culture, and more.
Shannon began her career in New York City working at the branding agency, nickandpaul, inc, managing CPG accounts. Upon moving back to her native state of California, she worked at the international PR agency, Ketchum, supervising and managing top food accounts; led the consumer food tech practice at Highwire PR; and managed PR internally for Williams-Sonoma, leading national and international PR activities for the brand, acted as a brand spokesperson (even appeared on TV in Canada!) and oversaw major new product launch events and store openings in the U.S. and Canada.
Shannon lives in San Francisco, CA with her husband, teen son, and pre-teen daughter - all of whom are big foodies. Shannon is a graduate of UCLA and grew up in wine country in Sonoma County, CA. She is passionate about bringing people together around food -- offline and in-person.
